Following you back. That sounds like a fun trip. Will you be meeting up with people or are you guys on your own? Montreal has a lot of things for kids to visit: Science Centre (hands on), Biodome (animals), Old Montreal (its like being in Europe), Old Port area (lots of stuff for everyone). Quebec is very scenic and is always full of tourists from all over. There are ferry rides so you can see it from another perspective, Chateau Frontenac (its a hotel but its such a monument that its worth it to visit it), there are lots of hands on museums and great shops and restaurants. As for Charlevoix, I've never been there but people keep raving about how beautiful it is. I would check the internet to see what is happening the weeks you are here. Hope you have great weather and a great time. Take care!
Oh My those are some big frogs...we are growing our own...just got a couple of tadpoles in the mail...at least yours get to go back to the creek! Happy Six Word Saturday!
WOW a pen pal since 1980. You are very lucky. My trip to France consists of landing in Paris and then I'm off to visit the Provence region. I've never seen it and heard that is fantastic. So why not! Your trip seems pretty well planned. I think the bus tour in Montreal is a good idea. This way you can just sit back and relax. I live in a suburb about 30 minutes out of Montreal and you know what happens, I get to lazy to go downtown. I dont know the Frontenac Hotel in Montreal but you will really enjoy the one in Quebec. The view is magnificient. Whales? WoW! I hope you can see them. I went to Gaspé and saw some and I can remember it like it was yesterday. I was with my grade 5 class. They were so excited. Have a great trip!
